Seems to be the most famous achilles in the world right now.
I've got a lot of sympathy for him, but at least it gives some new blood the chance to go to SA now.
Who would you take as your right midfielders?

almost as famous as his metertarsal (spelling?) was!!!
milner should now definately go, but as a play anywhere we need him role. take walcott and lennon if they're fit for the right

I like Lennon but I don't think Walcott is good enough.

I agree. Walcott isn't up to it, he's not played enough this season anyway. If he can get some games and bang a few in then maybe he goes. I was amazed that he started against Egypt the other night!
I'd take Milner, Lennon and Wright-Phillips with Wrighty starting because he always seems to do well for England.

Wright-Phillips for me aswell but not sure who else, no one has impressed me that much, don't like Lennon or Wallcott (im not counting Milner as a right winger in this)

Adam Johnson could be in with a shot if he can get some games. How weird would it be having a natural left footed player on the wing?!
