As I mentioned earlier, I attended the Farsley Celtic supporters club meeting tonight to discover just how a clubs moves on from Administration, being thrown out the league etc.
It all seems to boil down to football people wanting whats best for the club vs business people wanting whats best for them. Not only is this understandable, its also slightly predictable.
The case is this, Farsley are in admin (and have been for 9 months), they have been thrown out of BSNorth for not completing fixtures.
Attempted bids to buy the club have failed as fees with creditors have been agreed but not with administrators.
As these have failed the Administrators (mazars co) are now trying to sell assests... the biggest assest - the ground.
If the consortium can buy the Ground, they, along with the supporters club are going to build a team from scratch in the Unibond League 1, (two divisions lower that the BSNorth)
The club, the consortium and the sponsors (including creditors) all have officially backed the bid to buy the ground, the only thing stopping it is the administrators... fascinating circumstances, and I'll be posting any updates here.
Even if you don't want to read them, I do!

MAKING A PERSONAL APPEAL HERE FARSLEY CELTIC HAVE GOT ONE LAST CHANCE TO SURVIVE AND THEY NEED AS MANY NAMES ON THIS PETITION AS POSSIBLE. It is a shameless plus but one I am not affraid to use, please, if you have an email address and care about lower league football go to... www.backthepalmerbid.comsign the petition at the bottom and do one tiny amazing thing to help a football club (who are at a level our very own Yeovil were at not so long ago...) thanks Ben
